COMPARED WITH KLYRAE
Klyrae runs the training business. Alethris runs what the training proves.
Klyrae calls itself a training business operating system, and it is a real one: an AI-built website, events and webinars, email marketing, a CRM, naira payments with instalments, cohorts, live classes, assignments and certificates. The two products overlap, and then they go different ways.
WHERE EACH TOOL STOPS
The same middle. Different ends.
Drawn from what Klyrae publishes on its own site. A gap is a step their pages do not describe, not a claim that it cannot be done — and where they publish something, it is drawn as covered.
Klyrae: Apply, in Registration forms; Admit, not published; Pay to Submit, in Payments, cohorts, live classes and assignments; Assessed by staff, not published; Credential to Employer verifies, in Certificates, verifiable. Alethris: Apply to Employer verifies, in One record per learner.
THE JOINS
Two gaps, and both of them are about judgement.
Klyrae collects the work and issues the certificate. What happens between those two is where the products separate.
A registration form takes whoever fills it in. An academy that selects its intake decides somewhere else and then adds the people it chose, so the reason a place was given or refused lives outside the platform.
An application arrives with its answers, sits in a queue, and is admitted or refused by a named member of staff. Accepting an offer confirms the place, or holds it until the fee is paid.
Assignments are collected. How the work was judged, against which criteria, by whom, and what the learner was told to change are not part of the record the platform keeps.
A rubric with performance levels, an assessment signed by the assessor assigned to the work, revision requests the learner sees, and corrections that keep the assessment they replaced.
A verifiable certificate confirms the document is genuine. It does not say what the learner was assessed on, how, or which member of staff stood behind the result.
A verification page carries the issuer, the programme and cohort, the status, the assessment method and the competencies the academy approved, and stays honest when a credential is revoked or replaced.
The record belongs to the organisation that made it. A learner who studies with three academies ends up with three unconnected certificates and nothing that joins them.
A Skills Passport the learner controls, across every academy they learn with, which they can keep public, private or link-only.
SIDE BY SIDE
What each one holds about a learner.
Both products run cohorts, take payments and issue certificates. These are the rows where they answer differently, in both directions.
| KLYRAE | ALETHRIS | |
|---|---|---|
| The applicant's answers | A registration form | An application, with a decision and its reason |
| Attendance | Taken at events | A register for every session |
| Work a learner submits | Assignments | A submission, with its versions |
| How that work was judged | — | A rubric, signed by its assessor |
| Which competencies were shown | — | Recorded, with the evidence |
| What a certificate check returns | That the certificate is genuine | The programme, the method and the competencies approved |
| Paying a fee in instalments | Supported | Not yet: a fee is one payment |
| Reducing what a learner pays | Coupons | A code on the application, or an automatic offer for a window, with caps and a price floor |
| Events, webinars and email campaigns | A first-class part of the product | — |
| What the learner keeps across academies | — | A Skills Passport they control |
WHAT IT COSTS
Two plans, charged for different things.
Klyrae meters what you send. Alethris meters the academy you run. Neither number is on this page, because both move.
| KLYRAE | ALETHRIS | |
|---|---|---|
| Each month | A plan, by the emails and certificates you send | A plan, by the size of your academy |
| To start | A free tier | A 30-day trial, no card |
| Certificates | From the plan's capacity, or bought as top-ups | Inside the plan's allowance |
| How a learner can pay | Naira-first payments with instalments and coupons | Card, Pay with Transfer, a bank transfer your staff confirm, or a sponsor — one payment in full |
| When you collect the money yourself | — | Nothing |

When Klyrae is the right answer
- Events and webinars matter as much as programmes. Registration, tickets, reminders and calendar invites are first-class in Klyrae and are not in Alethris at all.
- You want the marketing in the same place: a website built for you, email campaigns with segments, and a CRM fed by every registration.
- Your learners pay in instalments. Klyrae supports them; in Alethris a fee is a single payment.
- You want to start at no cost. Klyrae has a free tier; Alethris has thirty days and then a plan.
None of that is a small list, and it is not going to shrink. If what you sell is attendance at good sessions, Klyrae is built for you and Alethris is not.
MOVING
You may not be choosing.
These are not the same product wearing different names, and several academies will have room for both.
ONE
Keep what works
If Klyrae runs your events, your site and your mailing list, there is no reason to move any of that. Alethris does not do it.
TWO
Bring the programme that is assessed
Start with the one cohort whose result has to mean something to somebody outside your academy.
THREE
Leave issued certificates where they are
Certificates you have already issued stay verifiable at Klyrae. Alethris issues from the cohorts it assessed, not retrospectively.
FOUR
Keep collecting money the way you do
Record payments against the learner from the first day, whoever collected them. There is no fee on money we did not collect.
Ask what your certificate has to prove.
If it has to be genuine, Klyrae issues one and will check it for you. If it has to say what the learner can do, how that was judged and who signed it off, that is a different kind of record, and it has to be built while the cohort runs.
